The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing complex construction projects from inception to completion. They will be responsible for the overall success of the project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The Senior Project Manager will report directly to the Director of Construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the project, including developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including Project Managers, Engineers, and Superintendents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure project success and future business opportunities.
- Manage risk by identifying potential issues and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations and requirements.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Provide regular project status updates to the Director of Construction and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience managing complex construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project management software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and resources.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- PMP or other relevant certification is preferred.
