Urban Workforce is seeking an Assistant Construction Superintendent for a leading homebuilder in Sacramento, CA. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who wants to grow in the construction industry while assisting in the management of high-quality residential projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Construction Superintendent in overseeing residential construction projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel
- Help ensure projects adhere to design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations
- Support the development and maintenance of construction schedules
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality
- Assist in resolving any issues or delays during construction
- Communicate effectively with project managers, homeowners, and stakeholders
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite in compliance with OSHA standards
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in residential construction or a related role
- Strong understanding of construction processes, blueprints, and scheduling
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with the Superintendent
- Proficiency in construction management software is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
