An established landscape construction and design firm is seeking an Estimator to collaborate closely with the Estimating Department and VP of Operations on all aspects of the bidding process. Responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, performing quantity takeoffs, pricing materials, soliciting bids from subcontractors, reviewing scopes of work, attending pre-bid meetings, and preparing and submitting comprehensive bids.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret drawings and specifications
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with Quick Measure or similar tools
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated with strong initiative
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates professionalism and a commitment to continuous learning
