Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction sector, specializing in multi-family high-rise projects. This role demands a seasoned professional with a strong network of subcontractors, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proven ability to manage high-value projects and teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:
- Lead and manage complex construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee a team of project managers and assistant project managers, providing mentorship and support to enhance their performance and development.
Project Management:
- Successfully manage a minimum of 5 residential tower projects of 30 stories or above.
- Execute at least 5 projects with a construction value exceeding $70 million.
- Coordinate all aspects of the construction process, from preconstruction to project closeout.
Subcontractor Relations:
- Develop and maintain a strong network of subcontractors in the South Florida market.
- Negotiate and manage subcontractor contracts to ensure favorable terms and high-quality work.
- Foster positive working relationships with subcontractors to ensure project success.
Financial Oversight:
- Understand and implement financial forecasting and budgeting for large-scale projects.
- Monitor project costs and financial performance, taking corrective actions as necessary to stay within budget.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Market Expertise:
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the South Florida construction market.
Leverage market insights to inform project planning and execution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction sector, with a focus on multi-family high-rise projects.
- Proven track record of managing a minimum of 5 residential tower projects of 30 stories or above.
- Successfully completed at least 5 projects with a construction value of $70 million or more.
- Extensive network of subcontractors and strong negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial forecasting and project budgets.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the South Florida market.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
